Seventh Seal » Devlog

So of course, we have much improved lighting and fight mechanics. But also a slew of new bugs fixed.
- Lighting had a drastic overhaul. Now everything is significantly brighter, the player now has a flashlight, and visibly, you now get to see the true beauty of the game.
- Fight mechanics have changed for melee. Now, the swing has a cooldown of 1 second with a longer swing that has far more impact.
- Enemies shriek when hit, jerk as a reaction, scream in pain, and with a headshot, their entire faces become covered in blood.
- The sound effects have been altered and improved as well as Violet's voice acting when swinging this gigantic barbed bat.
- The UI adjusts when you are within attack distance. Now, the reticule turns red and doubles in size if you are able to hit the enemy.
- Laundry room locks you in to prevent you from searching for the break room in the hallways. Also, signs for meeting rooms have been placed to avoid confusion.
- Fixed a bug where the player could aim and trigger a cutscene, causing Violet to face the wrong way during cutscenes.
All of these changes have come about because I watch you stream the game, so please, if you run into any more issues, please share them with me so I can get them fixed.
On the horizon, I'm looking to accomplish the following
- Fix bug when cutscenes play, the weapon switches back to the bat
- Control pad support
- Localization
- Indicator on which cylinder you are on during lock sequences.
Thank you again everyone who plays this game and has enjoyed it!
